Exercise During Pregnancy
Exercises during pregnancy are an essential part of good overall prenatal care. Although they might be different, you should still do your best to be active all throughout your pregnancy. Most pregnancy exercises should be limited to the low impact variety, particularly in the later months.
Because of your growing belly, any exercises during pregnancy that you participate in have a greater risk of injury. For this reason it is advised that you consider activities such as swimming, yoga or a stationary bike. Although some cardio is good, you must remember that your body is already working harder to maintain the growing fetus and any exercises during pregnancy shouldn’t be so intense that you can’t talk while you’re doing them.
